Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract at HMP Thameside and will begin delivering services in May 2023. We are the Health in Justice Market leader, providing healthcare services to offenders across the country. Our model of care is our Wellbeing Approach – an integrated, comprehensive approach in recognition of the fact prisoners are a socially-excluded group with healthcare needs which are complex and often associated with poor outcomes. It adopts the premise no single health/wellbeing factor can be taken in isolation of other motivational issues which might impact a person’s care.
HMP Thameside are looking for an Administrator to contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site. The role will include working within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning, faxing etc.
About You
The successful candidate will have a wide range of experience of office routines and procedure, working with multi-disciplinary teams in a customer care environment.

HM Prison Thameside is a local category B resettlement prison in the Thamesmead area of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, South-East London and is situated next to HMP Belmarsh. HMP Thameside is London’s only private prison and can currently hold 1232 convicted and remand male prisoners.
