This is a great chance for someone who has gone through management and now is looking to be more strategically driven in their role. This client is in need of someone who is an expert in analytics and can drive the value across a business; someone who has got to a stage in their career where management isn’t at the front of their mind, but passion, ideas and analysis is what drives them.

What be you’ll doing
Want a new, unique role? Well, this is it! This role offers you the chance to show the value and drive strategy around data and analytics in the company. You’ll be able to come in and get your head around data and workstreams in order to understand where each team is at.

This company have teams that are advanced in analytics – and those that are only just starting to acknowledge the value it can add – that’s where you come in. You’ll work with all the different teams and report to the Head of Analytics and BI, while working closely with the BI team to understand the current climate across technical and data driven teams, and non-technical teams alike. You’ll look at implementation of self-serve analytics, basic automation and more. Each part of the company is at a different level within their data journey, from some having basic Excel to others working with data science models or the team. Being successful in this role will mean the entire company – down to each team – having good analytics set up and using self-serve analytics alongside ongoing projects with data science to improve the business unit and analytics. End game is having it all effective and improving the tools as technology changes and evolves and the company grows.

You might be asked to run workshops for directors and senior managers and show how they could be using the data they have in place or even produce reports around things they’re missing. You’ll be able to capture what’s happening currently and drive insight from it in order to use predictive analysis, data maturity curves and perspective analytics or BI to the table. You’ll work with data science to build models around things that are happening and look at how successful this might be for the teams.

What experience you’ll need to apply

Expert in BI and Analytics
Strategy driven mindset
Highly skilled communicator with strong stakeholder management experience
Ability to run workshops
Solid understanding of what ‘good’ looks like when it comes to BI and Analytics
Enterprise level experience

A base salary reaching up to £90,000 per annum for the right person, plus an annual bonus and unbeatable package!

This role would require two days a week in their office in Bristol. This can be flexible but it cannot be offered remotely.
