Job Role: Client Activities and Involvement Officer

Salary: £8,976 - £9,525 per annum (Full time equivalent £22,440 - £23,812)

Hours: 15 hours per week, work pattern to be agreed

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Exeter

The Role

The Client activities and involvement officer will be facilitating programmes of client led activities, involvement and education, training, employment (ETE) opportunities. Identifying meaningful activity options across the project areas and supporting service users to engage with these options. The Client activities and involvement officer will be harnessing the clients experience to inform, challenge and improve the way we work.

Responsibilities include:
Assist in identification of meaningful occupation activities across Devon & Cornwall and matching services users in Julian House supported housing to appropriate and desired options.
Work with service users, case coordinators and support workers to identify and match individuals to meaningful activity options that progress clients personal goals.
Contribute ideas & work with partner agencies to further develop meaningful occupation activities that address gaps in this provision across Devon & Cornwall.
Contribute to developing & establishing other approaches to client involvement.
Facilitate periodic house meetings / service user interviews to gather feedback on Julian House service delivery and gaps in the wider system.

Qualifications / Requirements:
A valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work
Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs
