The successful candidate must have a passion for patient care and improving the patient experience. We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our specialist nurse-led Bladder, Bowel & Pelvic Health Team as a Band 3 administrator in the Continence Prescribing Team. The post holder will be required to have excellent communication skills to sensitively handle telephone communication with patients and healthcare professionals and will be based in Pembrokeshire.

The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner may be required.

You will be one of the main contacts for the Continence prescription service, receiving and processing prescriptions via telephone and email for continence appliances, for ordering samples, working with allied health professionals and for referring any clinical issues to the clinical nursing team.

The successful candidate will be able to navigate a large electronic database, utilising excellent IT skills to input information accurately, generate reports and data, perform generic clerical work such as producing letters and team documents, and taking minutes.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
