We now have an opportunity to join our team at Build Aviator in Bury St Edmunds as a Customer Support Administrator (part time). Our Colleagues are critical to our Customers’ success and you will be working with a team that proactively supports them in every way possible. Is this role right for me?

First and foremost, we always want to recruit great people that really understand our values and ways of working. Experience within our industry is not essential, we are committed to providing you with the full tools and support required to carry out your role within Build Aviator.

The role will consist of providing outbound telephone support as well as routine administrative tasks, for branches and customers (public & trade) on the use of Build Aviator for their building projects. You will also monitor customer accounts where required.

There are some specific experience/skills/knowledge we are looking for from suitable candidates;

Essential

Confident in working in a customer service environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confident in Microsoft office particularly Excel, MS Word, Outlook
Excellent telephone manner
Able to manage own workload and work to tight deadlines and prioritise demands
A great team player
Professional, positive, friendly and helpful
Good literacy and numeracy skills

Desirable

Previous experience within an administrative role would be advantageous
Knowledge of the building trade is advantageous
Previous experience using a Customer Database

What will I be doing in the role?

Field telephone calls and emails and ensure they are dealt with efficiently
Complete follow up calls with new and existing customers, providing support and additional services when needed
Resolve customer and colleague queries and concerns via telephone and email
Perform admin duties including updating databases / spreadsheets, notes and records on our in-house systems
Speak to customers; gain reviews, upgrade customers, introduce new services / products
Process payments

Hours of Work

We are currently offering Part Time hours for this role; either 17 or 21 hours per week. We are in a position to offer flexible working options on site between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. This will be discussed in detail at screening.
