Due to career progression of the current post holder, we have a rare opportunity for a strong and dynamic individual to lead our Deteriorating Patient Team.

As a credible and experienced life support instructor and course director, you will have a variety of clinical experiences to underpin these roles. You should have the ability to remain calm under pressure and have a thirst to deliver excellent patient care. You need to be inquisitive to know more and to learn from experiences to develop the service further. Thinking outside of the box will be a common activity and looking for new ways to deliver the day to day need will be a key initial priority. You will need to have a vision to support with the wider digital agenda and the refinement of the pathways in existence.

You will be supported by an experienced team who have a desire to develop and and have a positive impact on the patient and their journey through our system.

Does this sound like a role for you?

To clinically, and managerially, lead the Deteriorating Patient Team, including all aspects of HR management such as staff management, recruitment, performance.

To be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of work across the trust on the management and prevention of deterioration.

To lead on the design, review and delivery of Trust life support courses.

To lead on the design, delivery and review of advanced life support courses for Adults and Paediatrics across the Trust
