About the role
As a Finance Officer you will join a busy transactional processing team and provide additional support in line with ongoing projects, this is a fixed term contract until 31st May 2023 with a possibility of an extension.
As the Finance Officer you will
Process and or checking, high volume of financial transactions to firm deadlines
Monitor and maintain controls and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation standards, statutory audit requirements and fraud risks
Maintain high level of service for internal and external customers
Support monthly and yearly reporting of financial performance and position
Provide advice to the business to ensure correct application of financial policies and procedures
What we’re looking for
Experienced hire with previous Finance experience, eg Accounts Payable or Credit Control preferred, but this is not essential, as training will be provided.
Experience with SAP ERP would be desirable, but not essential as training will be provided
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills
Willing to be flexible and adaptable

Location: We embrace a hybrid working model at OS and understand there is no one size fits all in relation to how we work. We have a fantastic HQ in Southampton, Hampshire where you will be required to spend one day a week with the remaining time being a personal choice as to whether you work from home, one of our regional offices or spend more time at OSHQ.
