The HCSW Work Based Learning Facilitator role is designed to deliver training and development to support new and existing HCSW’. To enable them to deliver evidence based clinical care under the direction and support of the HCSW Development Lead.

You will work as part of the HCSW Career Framework implementation team to ensure effective delivery of the clinical induction programme for HCSW’s and to ensure that we meet the requirements of the HCSW Framework to lead and develop our HCSW to include assessment of competencies in practice.

The post holder will support the HCSW Development Team, in the delivery and assessment of work-based accredited learning programmes with a particular focus on the management of communication, nutrition, hydration, pressure area, continence, fluid balance, person centred care, end of life care, NEWS, falls, personal care, oral care, infection control, hand hygiene, rehabilitation and dementia care needs.

They will need to demonstrate that they have good communication skills and that they are an excellent team player, as well as being able to work alone and manage their workload.

To provide support and guidance to HCSW's in the clinical areas to enable then to complete their clinical assessments and their Induction Workbooks.
