Head of Project Delivery Job Gregory Cullompton

At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we have a vacancy for The Head of Project Delivery based at our Cullompton Depot.

The position will involve:
Lead the Project Delivery function, comprising a team of seven, to deliver and further develop the Group’s project delivery management strategy.
Ownership and management of the Group projects portfolio, ensuring delivery vs business requirements.
Holistic portfolio tracking of project risks, issues, resourcing and criteria success criteria.
Prioritisation of conflicting project deliverables and customer requirements.
Change Management of project scoping vs current inflight projects.
Development of a risk management culture to project delivery.
Proactively deliver continuous improvements in all project management processes and delivery approaches.
Form key relationships with central function Head of Departments to support project resourcing and delivery.
Programme management of Group wide transformation programmes, business integration and business change.
Development of a standard project delivery approach, reporting and templates.
Lead the development of business process efficiencies and the implementation of change.
Influence key stakeholders including directors, senior management and project stakeholders.
Project management of specific projects as required.
Lead project delivery quality reviews.
Review project lessons learnt and ensure key actions are driven through the department and future projects.
Management of a diverse set of projects within the Group’s PMO Portfolio. Including system implementations, operational changes for both internal and external customer stakeholders.
Ensuring that all relevant Health and Safety and other relevant legislation is fully complied with at all times.
Support the development of project management culture of customer focus, open communication, provision of timely & quality delivery across the business.
Use business, knowledge and experience to drive delivery, with the view of continuously improving the project management service.
