Housing Officer

Muirfield Centre, Cumbernauld

£32,486 - £34,195 per year

37.5 hours per week

We have an opportunity for 2 Housing Officers to join our team based in Cumbernauld. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that high quality housing management services are delivered to our residents with a focus on making a real difference to their lives.

This is a varied role that will see you managing a range of situations and helping to build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, whilst working in a professional manner to resolve problems and improve services.

The role of Housing Officer will include:
Delivering a high quality housing management service to tenants, partners and key stakeholders
Allocating void and new let properties and dealing with rent arrears
Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour cases
Completing estate management weekly inspections
Identifying shortfalls in service delivery and putting plans of resolution into place
Ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements for all housing management activities

Skills and experiences:
Proven experience of undertaking a similar role within housing
Knowledge of relevant housing regulations and legislation
Proven experience of delivery high quality tenancy services
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to implement solutions
Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages is essential
SVQ3 in relevant area or equivalent qualification
Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
