What you will do
You will be working on innovative and exciting projects, working within IPTs (Integrated Project Teams). Using cutting edge machines such as Spectroscopy and AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection). Looking into process development and production easement taking in to consideration DFX (Design for Manufacturing). Opportunities to visit other sides and get involved with Apprentice lead activities. You will often be responsible for planning and completing work independently. With time management a key skill. Working using the principles of Lean and 6 Sigma. Ensuring all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are met.

What we are looking for
A knowledge of computer systems/databases such as SAP is preferred.
Must have good communication skills and have the ability to perform independent learning and working. Basic IT skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential, higher levels preferred.
Ideally, a background or interest in hands on/practical work showing a range of technical skills.
Must have good organisational skills, demonstrated through ability to plan and prioritise.
You must have (as a minimum) the following academic qualifications:
5 x GCSE grades 4 - 9 or grades A*- C or equivalent (e.g. Functional Skills Level 2), Mandatory: English, Maths and Science

Normally this is to the level of Security Check (typically known as “SC”) for our business, which includes having a minimum of 5 years permanent residency in the UK, but may need to be to a higher level for this particular role due to the nature of the projects and or programmes that the role will be supporting.
