About the role

The office of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal consists of a small, flexible and busy team responsible for the management of The Princess Royal’s official programme, both in the UK and abroad.

Reporting to the Assistant Private Secretary, you will provide wide ranging administrative support to the team. This will include drafting correspondence, maintaining database systems, answering queries in writing and over the telephone, and providing general office support.

The role will require the postholder to work regularly from the London office at St James's Palace.

About you

With previous administrative/secretarial experience you will be efficient, well organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks and projects effectively.

As a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications you will be confident in using programmes including Outlook, Word and Excel.

You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident dealing with a wide range of individuals.

Finally, you will have an enthusiastic and pro-active approach to work and will enjoy using your own initiative and working collaboratively as part of a small team.
