At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we have a vacancy for a Payroll Administrator based at our North Tawton Depot.

The position will involve:
Processing payroll for a variety of businesses in the group, these include weekly and monthly paid employees.
Dealing with and answering payroll queries both via email and over the telephone.
Maintaining and processing the Payroll system by gathering, calculating and inputting data, including our time and attendance systems (iTrent and Open Options).
Perform calculations and payments for: Sick, Maternity, Paternity, adoption pay, Leavers, Unpaid leave, Back pay and sickness absences.
Completing all RTI submissions to HM Revenue & Customs.
Resolve payroll related queries over telephone, face to face and via emails.
Calculate PAYE and National Insurance liabilities for payment to HMRC.
Process third party deductions, such as trade unions, Court Orders etc. and liaise with third party providers as appropriate.
Administer various salary sacrifice schemes.
Running of reports as and when required.
Work as a team to provide a professional and helpful service to all employees and managers.
Have a proactive and collaborative approach, working with other HR colleagues to ensure timely and professional delivery.
To make recommendations for system improvements which would support better and more efficient processes.
