Would you like to use your recruitment skills to help shape the direction of the HR function at the Diocese of Westminster?
Our HR department directly impact how we can deliver the mission of the Catholic Church in Westminster. That impact is felt throughout London, Hertfordshire and Middlesex through our delivery of services, food banks, shelters, day centres, social enterprise and the many hundreds of programs provided by our parishes and agencies throughout the Diocese of Westminster.
This means there is lots to get involved in – and to be excited about.
The Role:
Above all, this role is about supporting our clergy managers, and departmental heads with the recruitment and onboarding of their people. This role will make a very real difference in enabling our parishes and departments within the Curia and Central service teams to supply the services needed to deliver our shared mission. So the focus is on recruitment and onboarding/offboarding however, you will have plenty of opportunity to support in other areas of HR for example through involvement in employee relations case work and in reviewing our induction process.
About you:
Using your excellent organisation and communication skills, you will thrive on the competing demands of this role, and take pride in delivering an outstanding recruitment and onboarding service to many different areas of Diocese. To be successful in this role, you must enjoy working within a small team just as much as working to your own initiative to determine the priorities.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role for the HR team, so we are looking for someone who shares our values, demonstrates our behaviours and has the experience and enthusiasm to fill the role.
You will also have experience of the following:
Recruitment experience within administrative functions
Relevant experience within recruitment and HR Information Systems
