Monday - Friday: 9.00am – 5.00pm

(You could start between 8:00am – 09:00am, so long as you work 7.5 hours a day).

We are currently looking to recruit a Responsible Person (RP) to work with the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU). As a Responsible Person, you will be responsible for the following:

Acting and being named as a Responsible Person on the company WDA(H) and ensuring the provisions of the licence are observed.
Carrying out the duties of a Responsible Person (as defined in the EU GDP Guideline of 5 November 2013) and maintaining appropriate records of any delegated duties where appropriate.
Ensuring all operations are GDP compliant to provide assurance that the quality of products stored and distributed by the company is not compromised and confirming that adequate records are maintained.
Providing quality oversight of external service providers impacting GDP operations and ensuring that the respective technical agreements are maintained in line with regulatory requirements and the scope of the service provided.
Working with the QA team to ensure the QMS is maintained and operated in compliance with current GDP requirements.
Performing internal and external audits of areas/activities which impact GDP to monitor the standards of compliance and ensure effective CAPA is implemented where necessary.
Coordinating and performing recall operations.
Continually monitoring and maintaining an awareness of current GDP requirements, assessing the impact of any updates, and ensuring any continual improvement activities to maintain compliance are implemented in a timely manner.
Conducting investigations associated with GDP related deviations and complaints.
Providing GDP training to support initial and continuous training programs for staff.
Approving returns to saleable stock.
Ensuring a robust process is implemented and maintained for the qualification and periodic re-qualification of suppliers and customers to establish their legitimacy and authorisation to supply and/or procure medicinal products.

Essential Criteria

Experience working as a Responsible Person within the Pharmaceutical industry.
Experience of involvement across all departments, working at a senior level.
Excellent working knowledge of Good Distribution Practice.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Eligibility to act as a Responsible Person for Import (RPi) (desirable but not essential)
