The Acorn Multi Academy Trust consists of seven primary schools on the borders East Devon and West Dorset and includes Axminster community Primary Academy (https://www.acornacademy.org/)
We are seeking a committed individual to join our Acorn Catering team to collect school meals from Axminster Primary Community School, deliver and serve. A moderate amount of lifting is necessary in the role, such as moving the dining hall furniture and carrying thermal boxes.
Reporting to: Catering Manager
Overview of role: To carry out the duties as directed by the Catering Manager to the required standard in a pleasant and professional manner. You will be required to wear uniform as per Trust guidelines. You will need your own road-worthy vehicle and to hold a full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities:
Collect and load own vehicle with school meals from Acorn Catering at Axminster Community Primary Academy and deliver to Membury Primary Academy and St Andrew’s CE Primary School, Chardstock
Preparation of servery counters and dining areas for service
Serve the meals in a friendly and pleasant manner
Wash up and clean the kitchen, servery and dining areas as required and return dishes to Axminster
Be punctual for start and finish times
Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the Catering Manager
