Following a recent restructure to expand and improve our SEND provision, an exciting opportunity has arisen for the SEND Department within the Student Experience Directorate at Kirklees College. The additional positions of SEND Support Worker will provide exceptional student support across all curriculum areas and college sites.

You will be required to provide physical and personal care support.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with young people in an educational capacity and must understand EHCP’s and SEND. It is essential you have knowledge and experience of different learning needs and using strategies to support students to become independent. Due to the nature of our work, it’s essential you’re committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults
We believe learning is not just for our students: it’s an important part of working here too.
