The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and competent Senior Administrative Officer to provide a comprehensive administrative support service for Adopt South. We are looking for a highly organised, motivated, enthusiastic and pro-active individual to join our team and provide personal assistant support within our fast paced and challenging environment. As a motivated individual and a confident team player, you must be able to work under pressure, using your own initiative when required and have excellent IT and communication skills, and dedication to improve outcomes for children and young people across our region.

Adopt South is a regional adoption agency that launched in April 2019. The agency is a partnership between Hampshire County Council, Isle of Wight Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council.

Working with Adopt South’s adoption service we support all aspects of families impacted by adoption. Your administrative skills and talent for organisation will be highly valued here in the Adopt South team. We can offer you a genuinely varied and responsible position and the chance to play a supporting role in helping the region’s most vulnerable children. It is essential you have PA experience and experience in prioritising enquiries and problems for action or referral to more senior management.
