Our projects team based in Southampton are currently looking to recruit Skilled Operatives to work on our Civil Engineering contracts in the Southern Counties.
As a Skilled Operative, you will be part of our Projects who are responsible for undertaking a range of Civils schemes.
Our projects include highway construction, drainage, flood prevention, structural concrete, bridges, retaining structures.
As a Skilled Operative your duties & responsibilities will be:
Working to the highest standards of Health and Safety
Producing work to a high quality
Operating construction plant and equipment
Excavations
Drainage
Kerb laying
Hard landscaping
Basic Formwork and steel fixing
Placing and finishing concrete
Essential Skills
CSCS qualification
Highways Civils Experience
Driving Licence (no endorsements)
New Roads and Streetworks (NRSWA) Operative accreditation
A range of CITB or NPORS plant certification (Excavators, dumpers, rollers, etc.)
Drainage - Excavation, installation and testing
Kerb laying
Structural concreting
Trowel skills
