Applications are invited for the above post who will report to the Manager of the Student Support Team within the School. The post holder will work within the team in line with current embedded activity to pro-actively provide general academic support and advice as well as direction to University support and development resources, complementing a students’ Academic Advisor and aiming to improve student attainment. The post holder will develop and deliver targeted activities for particular cohorts of students; will proactively use data available to identify students who would benefit from additional academic support and will work with the Student Support and Guidance teams and academics to reach out to those students to offer support and development opportunities.
Applicants are expected to have previous experience of working in an educational environment and have a good understanding of student support procedures and processes in relation to the provision of postgraduate taught and undergraduate education. The ideal candidate will have experience of Campus Solutions and will be able to work positively and respectfully with a range of students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
