Looking for a fun and meaningful role in which you can give something back? Help us to empower people with learning disabilities at our established coffee shops in Milton Keynes.

You will support and teach a wonderful group of adults helping them to gain skills involved with hospitality, customer care, food preparation, baking, money management and a number of other duties involved with running a busy shop and catering department. This role will require you to wear many hats, with no two days being the same!

As well as learning about food preparation, the people we support also enjoy shopping and attending/ serving at community events. We also support The Parks Trust and Bucks Fire and Rescue Service with catering, including silver service events and cupcake orders.

About you

Customer-service experience would be a definite plus, however this is by no means essential. Whatever your background, we will support you to become a confident and successful support worker. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support.

You will need to have a flexible approach to the work environment and hours, as weekend and evening working will be expected.

You must hold a manual driving license, in order to drive the bakery van.

Training and Development

At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
