Our Community based service located in Dunmurry is looking for Support Worker to Join the team, A full Drivers License would be essential for this role, as we provide transport for tenants on a regular basis.
You will join our fantastic team here at Dunmurry where you will be supported and able to grow and develop within your role. As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible.
Our service supports adults with complex disabilities, including autism and mental health needs. In addition to assisting with personal care, you’ll support our residents to do the activities they enjoy; this might include sports, acting, trips to the theatre, cooking, or supporting someone to attend social events.
Flexibility is needed as working times will include days and weekends. If you only have mid- week availability, this will also be considered. Our wonderful service is within easy reach of local public transport links.
Sense’s work is crucial in helping people live the lives they want each and every day. Too many people with complex disabilities face a battle to find the right support. We’re here to help people who face communication barriers in a world that relies on being able to see and hear well to be connected.
