This post holder will lead the Trafford Health and Justice, and St Joseph’s Mental Health Teams. The post holder will support practitioners in those teams to deliver access to mental health care for people in the criminal justice system, in the Trafford borough and to residents at St Joseph’s Approved Premises in Eccles. The post holder will support the teams clinically by holding a small number of complex cases.

The post holder will contribute to the development of health and justice care agenda within across Trafford directorate and will also contribute to the wider health and justice agenda within GMMH.

Provide operational and clinical leadership to Trafford Health and Justice, and St Joseph's Approved Premises Mental Health Teams.

Contribute to the development of the wider Community Health and Justice service to deliver accessible mental health care to people in the criminal justice system.

Develop and sustain relationships with partners with the aim of collaborating on creating and maintaining pathways for the cohort

Contribute to the good governance of mental health care for people in the criminal justice system

Participate in the division on call rota
