York and Selby Early Intervention for Psychosis Team is looking to recruit a Trainee Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding Psychological Professions group within the team.
The Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service in TEWV works to improve the detection of first episode of psychosis and to provide high quality, evidence- based interventions to facilitate recovery for individual experiencing first episode psychosis. The service works with people aged 14 -65 years.
The team is based in York covering the geographical area of York and Selby. The service operates the working hours 9-5 Monday to Friday. This is a full time position.
The post will involve undertaking a 2 year post graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis and Bipolar. Attendance and study time would be part of the 37.5 working hours and the course would be predominantly delivered online however there may the requirement for some infrequent travel for face-to-face teaching. This travel would be funded.
