Job Purpose
Supporting the Warehouse & Distribution Department to ensure work schedules and levels of customer service are achieved by ensuring the right pallets and products are in the right place at the right time in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Health & Safety and Security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Organising product movements in and out of Production airlocks, Staging Area and Warehouse end to end.
Operating mechanical handling equipment, as required, in a safe and responsible manner and in accordance with the training provided.
Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and the re-palletisation of materials.
Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice, and health and safety guidelines.
Ensuring that powered equipment is used correctly and maintained in a clean and tidy condition, checking the batteries are topped-up at the end of each working session and the equipment is placed on charge.
Qualifications
GCSE's of grade C or above in Maths & English (or equivalent)
4 or more GCSE's of grade C or above (or equivalent) - preferred
Certifications or Designations
Fork-lift certificate (preferred)
Experience
Warehouse/Fork-lift/GMP/GDP (preferred)
