If so, our Southern Water Recycling team are looking for a reliable team member to cover the Swanage area on a 4 on 4 off working pattern.

What’s the job?

The role of Water Recycling Operator involves the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards. You will also be involved in running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants.

You will play a big part in the team in ensuring compliance with company policy, processes, and procedures. You must also ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times.

Additionally, you will need to be flexible, as in emergency you will be required to work outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends, also occasionally be available for Standby.

What do I need?

To be successful you will need a can-do attitude and a flexible approach, to maintain the highest standards of compliance and service to our customers. You will be happy working outside in all conditions and have previous experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant.

In addition, you will have an NVQ level 2 in Sewage Treatment Operations, be able to work in a pressurised environment at all times of the day or night and in all conditions.

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you hold a valid driving licence, a vehicle will be provided for your travel along with all the tools you will need.
